General Conditions:

 

1.     ENROLMENT

To enrol on any of the programmes, the participants will have to complete and send the Enrolment Form by fax, e-mail, or bring it personally to the Administration Office of the Foundation. Then we will proceed to confirm the inscription, book the course for you and indicate the total price of the program. After that the participant will have to pay the total amount of the programme.

 

2.     PAYMENT

The complete price of the program must be paid in Euros, at least one week before the beginning of  the course by bank transfer to the following account:

The bank transfer must clearly show the full name of the student in order to facilitate identification. Bank expenses will be paid by the student. Students must send a copy of the transfer to the Administration Office by fax, e-mail or bring it personally.

 

3.     PRICES

The prices include the enrolment fee, level test, the use of the library, personal tutution and general information about Cartagena.

The prices doesn´t include the student material such us student books.

The prices include all taxes.

The Foundation reserves the possibility to modify the prices in especific occasions and for punctual reasons that will be communicated to the student.

 

        4.     CANCELLATIONS

In case of any cancellation the student must notify us about it in writing, by sending a letter, fax or e-mail to our office 4 weeks before the beginning of the programme, it will has a 20 € cancellation fee. Anyway, the student who communicates the cancellation before the beginning of the course, will be able to reserve and use it at any time during one year.

All the courses except One to One classes need 5 participants as minimum (maximum 12). The Foundation reserves the right to cancel the course if the number of students is lower.

 

4.     ABANDONMENT

After the beginning of the programme no payment will be returned. The Foundation is not responsible for cancellations due to natural disasters, students health or personal problems. Anyway the students can reserve part of the course and incorporate again at any time during one year. 

 

6.     MISSED CLASSES

The Foundation is not responsible for the classes that the student could not attend. In case of missing more than one week of classes because of illness or other factor the student can recover them by taking part in another similar course, providing justification. 

 

        7.      CHANGES

The classes are given in accordance to the schedule, number of students, levels and conditions that are advertised. The Foundation is responsible for the fulfilment of the specified conditions and especially for the students' maximum limit in a group, schedule and levels. The student can request a change of the programme and level by his/her own decision or by the recommendation of the teacher.

               

8.     MINORS

To participate in any of the programme the students must be at least 18 years old. Anyway the minors who take part in any of the programmes will do it with the authorization of their parents or tutors.

 

        9.     DISCIPLINES

The Foundation saves the right to expel the student of the programme for reasons of inappropriate conduct. This extreme measure will suppose the loss of the amounts paid by the participant. The student must follow the instructions that the organization indicates respecting teachers, monitors and classmates.

 

10.   RESPONSIBILITIES

The Foundation is not responsible for losses of time not attributable to the centre of education, losses of money or other possessions that affect the participant during the accomplishment of the programme.

The Foundation can provide a medical assurance by previous request of the student.

 

        11. DISABILITIES

The Foundation accepts students with disabilities and does it’s best to facilitate their stay in Cartagena during the period of study.

 

        12. POLITICS OF PRIVACY

The student must complete the forms with real, exact and updated information. The Foundation of Cartagena reserves the right not to give services to those registered with false information, without prejudice of the legal actions that proceed.

The student authorizes the treatment of the personal information that has voluntarily beenn given to the Foundation in order to receive the advertising of new services or offers.

The personal information provided will pass to form a part of a database property of the Foundation.

The Foundation reserves the right to transfer the requested information to other state entities (Police, Town Hall, etc) as well as to partners and collaborators for a better service, respecting the Spanish legislation on protection of information.
